Over the past year, we’ve had to increase our staff here at Axis41 by 41% (yes, an amazing coincidence!) to meet growing client needs. Obviously every agency is happy to see new clients come in the door. But what we’re finding interesting is what our clients are looking for these days. In particular, Axis41 clients seem to be turning their investment toward the marketing technologies they need to power all their marketing communications programs.
Increasingly savvy customers have high expectations of a website, whether B2B or B2C: they want a quality brand experience with relevant content. Delivering relevant content requires the tools of content management systems (CMS), analytics packages and conversion optimization testing. These tools require a skilled development team to deliver them.
Today’s marketing environment requires an investment in both traditional brand communication strategy as well as systems that can automate those marketing programs. And CMOs are faced with new responsibilities — they now have to select, manage and feed the technology systems that control their marketing programs.
